Tabernacle Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church located in Altus, Oklahoma; in the southwest corner of the state that is just one hour west of Lawton. Altus is the home to Altus Air Force Base and our membership reflects the diversity of cultures by having members who have traveled the world but also members that have chosen to make Oklahoma their home for life. This has given our church a greater understanding of world missions and the importance of having a burden to reach the lost for Christ in their own communities.

Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them through systematic Bible study and concentrated Discipleship classes that will equip and train laborers together with Christ through the local church.
